Boston Bruins forward, Nathan Horton, suffered a concussion last month and has not played since January 22 against the Philadelphia Flyers. Horton is fourth on the Bruins in goals scored with 17 and seventh in points with 32. Horton is still considered day-to-day, but according to WEEI, is progressing nicely.
... coach Claude Julien told reporters prior to Saturday's game that the right wing rode the stationary bike for the first time on Friday.
Also, according to DJ Bean of WEEI, the Bruins have recalled former 2009 first round pick, Jordan Caron, who did not play in the Bruins' loss to the Penguins on Saturday.
Caron has been sent to the AHL six times this season, and in 17 games, he has four goals and nine assists for 13 points. The 21-year-old has been hot of late, with two goals and an assist over his last three games.
