All three players acquired by the Boston Bruins at the trade deadline are trying their best to report to Boston by Tuesday morning.
Defensemen Mike Mottau and Greg Zanon and forward Brian Rolston expressed their desires to crack the Bruins lineup immediately. Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli said in a Monday early evening press conference that he expects Mottau and Rolston to be in Boston right away, while he warned that Zanon could be delayed. It was unclear if any of the three would see playing time Tuesday night when the Bruins host the Ottawa Senators.
To make room for the three newest roster members, recent callups Carter Camper (who just scored his first NHL goal in Saturday’s away win against the Senators), Andrew Bodnarchuk and Max Sauve were sent back down to AHL Providence.

One of the last moves made right before the trade deadline was Boston acquiring Wild defenseman Greg Zanon for Bruins defenseman Steven Kampfer.
Kampfer had just played 10 games this season while other defensemen were out due to injury. He did not get his name on the Stanely Cup last year due to not playing in the minimum amount of games needed.
Meanwhile, Zanon has played in 39 games and contributed very well defensively. He had 77 hits in those 39 games and 104 blocked shots. Offensively he has two goals and six points this season.
As one of the top puck-blockers in the lead, he should get along with defenseman Dennis Seidenberg who also is renown for getting in the way of the puck before it reaches the crease.
This trade comes just in time as Bruins defenseman Johnny Boychuk has been confirmed to have "concussion-like symptoms" after being drilled by Ottawa’s Chris Neal.
