Alexandre Burrows has bitten the Boston Bruins for the second straight game. In Game 1, Burrows bit Patrice Bergeron. In Game 2, Burrows took a bite out of the Bruins' Stanley Cup title hopes.
Burrows scored the game-winning goal 11 seconds into overtime, giving the Vancouver Canucks a 3-2 win over the Boston Bruins, as well as a 2-0 series lead. Here's the game-winning goal.
Boston is facing an 0-2 hole in the postseason for the second time this season. The Bruins lost their first two games against the rival Montreal Canadiens, only to come back and win the series in seven games.
However, the Canucks aren't the Habs - they're much, much better (after all, they're in the Stanley Cup Finals, right?). ESPN's Steve Levy and Barry Melrose discuss the Bruins' Game 2 loss in the video below.
Boston will host Vancouver for Games 3 and 4 at TD Garden, with Game 3 set to take place on Monday night at 8:00 p.m. EDT (TV/Radio: Versus/WBZ-FM).
