TD Garden has decided not to host a viewing party for Game 7 of the 2011 NHL Stanley Cup Finals between the Boston Bruins and Vancouver Canucks, citing "logistical and safety concerns" surrounding the event.

Reports early in the morning indicated that NBC, which owns the broadcast rights to the Cup Final, would not let TD Garden air the game. However, NBC denied the reports that they wouldn't allow the Garden to show the game.
CSNNE.com later published a report indicating that TD Garden would be hosting a viewing part for the game, but Garden officials ultimately decided to call off the event.
