Daniel Paille Injury: Paille May Have Broken Nose After Puck To Face

Boston Bruins winger Daniel Paille took a vicious slap shot to the face and was forced to leave the game against the New York Islanders in the third period of the B's 6-2 victory on Monday night at TD Garden. Paille may have a broken nose, according to Patrice Bergeron on a postgame television interview.

Paille was set to be examined late on Monday night, according to B's coach Claude Julien.

Julien on Paille: "He's going to be seen by some specialists tonight...got hit in the face, nose area."^BISH

Paille has played 12 games with the Bruins this season prior to Monday night's game, recording two points on two goals. Paille joined the Bruins in the 2009-10 season, playing in 74 games and registering 19 points (10 goals, nine assists). In 324 games played, Paille has 111 points (53 goals, 58 assists).
