The Bruins have been on fire through the month of November and with the help of some of their streaking forwards, there is no reason to believe that should end tonight against the New Jersey Devils.
Boston, who now holds a 8-7-0 record this season after losing seven of its first ten games, has caught fire in the month of November and is leaving trails of fallen teams behind.
Tyler Seguin has a lot to do with that. The young forward has 11 points in six games and was recently honored with the NHL's first star of the week.
Tim Thomas has also been solid, especially against the Devils and will most likely get the start tonight. Thomas recorded his 27th career shutout with the 7-0 win over Toronto back on Nov. 5 and has won his last three starts. He also took victories in all three of his games against the Devils last year.
On a night that the Bruins have dedicated primarily for the Military, it will most definitely be an emotional game. Bruins players Johnny Boychuk, Andrew Ference, Nathan Horton, Milan Lucic, and Dennis Seidenberg each bought $5,000 worth of tickets to tonight's game and those tickets were donated to military members and their families.
