Bruins Vs. Rangers: Boston's Early-Season Success Continues

After a scoreless first period and a Rangers goal in the second frame, the Boston Bruins netted a pair of goals to take a lead they would not relinquish Wednesday night, eventually winning in New York, 3-2.

The go-ahead goal was scored by rookie Tyler Seguin, his fourth of the season.

Tyler Seguin put the B's ahead at 2-1 with 3:25 left in the second period. Rangers defenseman Matt Gilroy could not control the puck at his offensive blue line and Seguin took possession of the puck tand raced up the right wing and fired a laser of a wrist shot that beat Lundqvist up high on the glove side for the kid's 4th NHL goal.

The win improved the Bruins' record to 10-5-1 (second in the Northeast Division, and fifth in the East), which is a nice improvement from last year says Stanley Cup of Chowder: "It took the Bruins 22 games to reach the 10 win mark last year. This year, the accomplished the feat in 16 games."
