Boo Corrigan will reportedly be hired as the next Director of Athletics at Boston College, according to 98.5 The Sports Hub producer Chris Curtis. Corrigan most recently serves as the athletics director at Army.

Alex Dragicevich, a 6-foot-7, 221-pound guard/forward from Illinois, has reportedly transferred from Notre Dame to the Boston College men's basketball team. Dragicevich averaged 6.8 points and 1.9 last season for the Fighting Irish.

Gabe Moton has reportedly been granted his release from the Boston College Eagles' men's basketball team, according to Jeff Goodman of CBS Sports. Moton, a sophomore point guard, recently completed his second season at BC.

The Commonwealth Classic is no more. Boston College basketball will drop the University of Massachusetts from its 2012-13 schedule due to ACC expansion. The Eagles and Minutemen had met annually for the past 17 seasons.
