Think Logan Mankins of the New England Patriots isn't tough? Well, think again. Mankins, according to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter on Sunday morning, played the entire 2011 season with a torn ACL. If that doesn't impress you, nothing will.

Logan Mankins is one tough dude. The longtime offensive lineman for the New England Patriots previously admitted to playing with a torn ACL in Super Bowl XLVI, but now according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Mankins played with a torn ACL for one whole year. Impressive? You bet.

September 9, 2012One year ago, opening Monday night matchup between Miami and New England, Patriots Pro Bowl G Logan Mankins tore his right ACL. Not only did Mankins finish the Monday night game, he finished the season, becoming one of the rare, if not the only, player ever to have played an entire 16-game season with a torn ACL. Any way you look at it, that's incredible. I get up from the couch and tweak a knee, and I'm feeling it for the rest of the day. Mankins? Nope, he'll play through a silly ACL injury, something that would sideline most other athletes for an entire season. Don't even question Mankins' work ethic ever again. Ever.
