UMass Vs. Indiana Halftime Score: Hoosiers Routing Minutemen, 38-6

FOXBORO - MIke Wegzyn's first quarter touchdown run finally gave the UMass Minutemen their first points of the FBS era, but that was the only offense they could muster and the Indiana Hoosiers had their way and rolled to a 38-6 lead at halftime at Gillette Stadium.

Tre Roberson sparked the Hoosiers' offensive attack in the first quarter, rushing for two long touchdowns and throwing for another, but the sophomore quarterback suffered a scary left leg injury that resulted in him leaving the game on a stretcher and being removed from the stadium in an ambulance. Prior to the injury, Roberson had amassed 98 passing yards and 105 rushing yards. No official update on his condition has been provided by Indiana.

Cameron Coffman replaced Roberson and threw for 92 yards. Cody Latimer had four catches for 60 yards and Tevin Coleman rushed for 51 yards on 10 carries.

Mike Wegzyn completed 12-of-18 passes and had 97 yards through the air for UMass. Wegzyn also had 35 rushing yards on five carries, including a 16-yard touchdown scamper, and Michael Cox racked up 31 rushing yards. Marken Michel had 66 receiving yards.
