Boston Red Sox at Seattle Mariners - 10:10 p.m. (TV/Radio: NESN/WEEI): The Red Sox will send Aaron Cook to the mound Wednesday night in search of a series win in the Emerald City. After dropping the opener, Boston was able to win on Tuesday night with a comeback victory that featured a four-run sixth inning. Kevin Millwood will oppose Cook, looking for his fifth win of the season.

Major League Soccer

Columbus Crew vs. New England Revolution - 8:00 p.m. (TV/Radio: CSN/WVZ-FM): The Revolution have been struggling in a mighty way lately. However, they have another chance to turn the tide against Columbus, a squad that's in heated competition for a playoff spot. New England will attempt to break a franchise record 10-game winless streak.

U.S. Open - 12:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. (TV: ESPN2): After being so rudely delayed by rain on Tuesday, many players including Maria Sharapova and Andy Roddick will continue their hopes of winning a major in Flushing, NY on Wednesday. Roger Federer and Serena Williams will also be in action, trying to move onto the semifinals.
