The Boston College Eagles will try to take down the Clemson Tigers at home on Saturday afternoon.

The Boston College Eagles are set to take on the No. 17 Clemson Tigers on Saturday afternoon at Alumni Stadium in an ACC showdown.

The Eagles have struggled to 1-2 year, with their only victory coming over the Maine Black Bears. In its last showing, Boston College fell at Northwestern, 22-13.

One of the problems for the Eagles is a very one-dimensional offense. Boston College has shown the ability to dominate through the air, ranking 15th in the country with 317 passing yards per game. However, they come in at 118th in the nation in rushing yardage with 95.7 per contest.

Clemson has been playing solid football but couldn't overcome the fourth-ranked Florida State Seminoles last weekend in a 49-37 thriller. The Tigers are led by a trio of explosive players in quarterback Tajh Boyd, running back Andre Ellington and wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.

TV/Radio: ESPN2, WEEI | Time: 3:30 p.m. ET |Odds: CLEMSON -9
