The New England Patriots wrapped up their preseason schedule on Wednesday night against the New York Giants without any major injuries.

The New England Patriots finished their preseason slate on Wednesday night with a 6-3 loss to the New York Giants and there are no major injuries as roster cut day gets underway.

Tight end Visanthe Shiancoe did not play against the Giants, as he's recovering from an undisclosed injury. Safety Patrick Chung also had Wednesday night off as he nurses a shoulder injury, joining running back Shane Vareen, who was injured in the Patriots' 30-28 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Friday, Aug. 24, reports Zuri Berry of Boston.com.

New England's list of who didn't play in Wednesday's exhibition finale is longer than any team injury report at the moment in Foxboro and included the following players: Tom Brady, Wes Welker, Stevan Ridley, Brandon Spikes, Tracy White, Matt Kopa, Nick McDonald and many more, according to ESPN Boston's Patriots blog.
