West Newbury, Massachusetts native John Cena was defeated by CM Punk, who retained his WWE championship title against Cena and The Big Show at SummerSlam 2012 on Sunday night in LA. Brock Lesnar also defeated Triple-H.

Brock Lesnar shocked the WWE Universe by taking down fan-favorite Triple-H in the main event of SummerSlam 2012, which took place inside the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on Sunday night. After losing the match, Triple-H slowly made his way out of the ring as the crowd cheered him on, hinting at a possible final stand for The Game.
In the other major match of the night, CM Punk retained his WWE Championship title in a Triple Threat match against John Cena and The Big Show. All three had their moments during the match, but the decisive blwo came when Cena, the West Newbury, Massachusetts native, delivered an Attitude Adjustment to Big Show, leaving him motionless in the middle of the ring. As Cena went for the pin, CM Punk pushed him out of the ring and stole the pin.

Triple-H and Brock Lesnar highlight the card at SummerSlam 2012, which begins at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday night and takes place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA. Triple-H and Lesnar have been feuding since Lesnar returned and attacked the COO of the WWE.
John Cena, a Massachusetts native, is also in action, facing current WWE champion CM Punk and The Big Show in a Triple Threat match for the championship. Cena and Big Show haven't held a title since late 2011, and Punk has held the strap since last Survivor Series.
