French Open 2012 Results, Round 4: Novak Djokovic Advances To Quarterfinals, Victoria Azarenka Upset

Day 8 of the 2012 French Open saw a major upset on the Women's side of the draw when No. 1 seed Victoria Azarenka fell to No. 15 seed Dominika Cibulkova. On the Men's side, No. 1 seed Novak Djokovic was able to advance to the quarterfinals.

Cibulkova defeated Azarenka, 6-2, 7-6(4). Djokovic defeated Andreas Seppi, 4-6, 6-7(5), 6-3, 7-5, 6-3.

In other action:

No. 3 seed Roger Federer beat David Goffin, 5-7, 7-5, 6-2, 6-4.

No. 5 seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and No. 9 seed Juan Martin Del Potro were unable to finish their matches on Sunday due to darkness. Tsonga is playing No. 18 seed Stanislas Wawrinka (6-4, 7-6(6), 3-6, 3-6, 4-2) and Del Potro is playing No. 7 seed Tomas Berdych (7-6(6) 1-6 6-3).
