Eastern Conference leading Connecticut Sun take on the Indiana Fever on Thursday night in the second game of a home-and-home matchup between the two teams. Led by Kara Lawson, the Sun took the first contest at home between Connecticut and Indiana.
Now, the Sun look for their fourth consecutive road win of the season, which would be a franchise record for consecutive road wins to begin season.
To Lawson's satisfaction, the Sun have had to play in some close games recently, and Thursday is not expected to be much different. With the exception of last Friday's stomping of the New York Liberty, it's been a battle tested week for Connecticut, starting with Sunday's 75-73 win against the Atlanta Dream, then the win over the Fever on Tuesday, 88-85 after letting a double-digit lead slip away. Thursday's game begins at 7 p.m. ET.
