Connecticut Sun Vs. Indiana Fever: Connecticut Wins In Overtime, 88-85

The Connecticut Sun and Indiana Fever played a thriller on Tuesday night at Mohegan Sun Arena as Connecticut overcame Indiana in overtime, 88-85.

For the Sun, Kara Lawson led the way with 20 points on 5-10 shooting from the field. Lawson also contributed four rebounds and three assists. Tina Charles contributed 14 points and eight rebounds while Kalana Greene and Renee Montgomery each contributed 12 points each.

For the Fever, they were led by Katie Douglas who had 23 points, nine rebounds, four assists and three steals. Perennial All-Star Tamika Catchings contributed 14 points and five rebounds to Indiana's cause with Douglas's backcourt mate Briann January scoring 12 points.

The victory brings the Suns to 9-2 on the season and they remain in first place in the Eastern Conference while the loss drops the Fever to 5-4 this season as they sit in third place in the East.
