Connecticut Sun Vs. Indiana Fever Final Score: Sun Blown Out, 91-65

The Connecticut Sun (now 9-3) hit their first stumbling block of the season, falling 91-65 on the road to the Indiana Fever on Thursday night in the second game of a home-and-home series.

With a win, the Sun would have started the season a franchise-record 4-0 on the road. Instead, they floundered, shooting just 36.2 percent from the floor for the game. Even worse, they went just 1-for-13 from beyond the 3-point arc. Against a Fever squad shooting 52.1 percent for the game and 11-for-19 from long range, the Sun had little chance.

Connecticut's starters struggled to put in quality minutes. Kara Lawson finished with just seven points on 2-for-8 shooting (0-for-3 from beyond the arc). Mistie Mims ended up leading the Sun off the bench with 11 points on 4-for-4 shooting. Asjha Jones pitched in 10 points, but also had five turnovers on the night.

Meanwhile, Briann January was practically unstoppable for Indiana. She led all scorers with 20 points, 12 of which came on 4-for-5 shooting from 3-points range.
