The Sun will try to win their fourth game in a row when they take on the Sparks on Wednesday night.
The Connecticut Sun (6-1) will take on the Los Angeles Sparks (6-1) will meet on Wednesday night at the Mohegan Sun Arena in a battle of one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference vs. one of the best from the Western Conference. The Sun are on a three-game winning streak and are 4-1 at home on the year. The Sparks enter the contest on a four-game win streak and sport a 2-1 road record.
The Sun have not lost since June 1 and have scored 91.7 points per game in their last three outings. Connecticut has been led in scoring by Tina Charles (20.9 ppg) who picked up her 50th career double-double against Atlanta on June 10. Charles also hauls down 11.1 rebounds per game to lead the team. Kara Lawson chips in 13.7 ppg and leads the team with 3.9 assists per game.
The Sparks are off to their best start in nine years and are led by Candace Parker (18.7 ppg), Nneka Ogwumike (14.9 ppg) and Kristi Toliver (19.6 ppg).
