The Red Sox will take on the Orioles in the first match of a three-game set Friday night as Jon Lester looks to end Boston's losing streak at two games. First pitch is at 7:10 p.m. EST with broadcasts on NESN and WEEI.
Bobby Valentine will experiment with an interesting new lineup tonight, featuring exciting young third baseman Will Middlebrooks batting second and Dustin Pedroia hitting cleanup as he hopes for some better results than the Sox have seen in the last couple of losses. The bottom of the lineup seems fairly typical against a lefty, with righties stacked everywhere.
