Red Sox Vs. Tigers: Game 3 Preview, TV Info And More

The Boston Red Sox climbed above .500 for the first time this year after defeating the Detroit Tigers 6-3 Tuesday night. The Red Sox have won three of their last four to get to this point, and are hoping to extend their home winning streak to seven games.

David Ortiz has been hot against the Tigers and has gone 5-for-8 with three doubles and three RBI in his last two games. Ortiz also has played extremely well against the Tigers since 2010 by having a .391 average and 20 RBI. During the Red Sox six-game home winning streak he has a .478 average.

Jon Lester is starting tonight against the Tigers and he will be attempting to have a better outing this time around. In his last start he gave up three homers in four innings against the Tampa Bay Rays last Friday.
