Loyola Vs. Notre Dame, 2012 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament: Loyola Wins, 7-5

Loyola Maryland defeated the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Saturday, cementing their spot in the championship game of the 2012 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament.

Loyola – the tournament's one seed – defeated Notre Dame by a final score of 7-5. Eric Lusby turned in a great performance, scoring five of his team's seven goals, on six shots on goal. Loyola's remaining two goals were scored by Davis Butts and Josh Hawkins.

With the win, Loyola now awaits the winner of Maryland/Duke, who are scheduled to play on Saturday night. Duke is the favorite, and they entered the tournament as the three seed.

The championship game is scheduled for Sunday, May 28, at 1 pm EST.
