The Players Championship 2012 Winner: Matt Kuchar Holds Off Challengers On Sunday To Win

Matt Kuchar won the 2012 Players Championship by shooting 13-under-par for the tournament and 2-under-par during his Sunday round. He finished ahead of the second place finishers by by two shots.

After Kuchar were:

t-2. Martin Laird, 11-under-par
t-2. Zach Johnson, 11-under-par
t-2.Rickie Fowler, 11-under-par
t-2. Ben Curtis, 11-under-par

Vermont native Keegan Bradley had a 2-under-par round on Sunday and finished 2-under-par for the tournament. He finished tied for 35th for the tournament and improved on his 72nd place finish in 2011. Worcester, Mass. native Scott Stallings shot 3-under-par between his rounds on Thursday and Friday and missed the cut. This was Stallings' first appearance at the Players Championship.
