2012 Masters, Results And Recap: Bubba Watson Wins The 76th Masters

When all was said and done at the 76th Masters Tournament at the Augusta National Golf Course on Sunday night, Bubba Watson was the much deserving champion.

Watson looked like an afterthought most of the day before rattling off four straight birdies on the back nine to put himself in a playoff. Then, after a horrible tee shot on the third playoff hole, Watson exectued one of the most incredible shots in Masters history.

From deep in the woods, Watson unloaded a magnificent shot and landed it within 15 feet of the pin, two-putting to glory.

Louis Oosthuizen played very solid golf, but just couldn't make a few key putts as Sunday wore on to finish Watson off. His double eagle on the second hole was historic (only the fourth one ever at Augusta and first on the second hole) and put him ahead of the field for most of the afternoon.

Keegan Bradley, who hails from Woodstock, VT, finished his tournament +2 and wasn't really much of a factor over the weekend.

However, it was Watson who ended up wearing his first green jacket.
