The 2012 Big East Tournament begins Tuesday at Madison Square Garden, and for the second straight year the Connecticut Huskies, the No. 9 seed, will kick start the five-day, 16-team, single-elimination event as they will play at 12 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
UConn will face No. 16 DePaul Blue Demons in the first round with the winner advancing to the second round to play No. 9 West Virginia Mountaineers (12 p.m. on ESPN).
After the Huskies play, however, the Big East will play three more first-round contests, so here's a look at Tuesday's bracket and TV schedule:
Tuesday, March 6 (First Round):
Noon ET: (No. 16-seed) DePaul Blue Demons vs. (9) Connecticut Huskies (ESPN2)
2 p.m.: (13) Pittsburgh Panthers vs. (12) St. John's Red Storm (ESPN2)
7 p.m.: (15) Providence Friars vs. (10) Seton Hall Pirates (ESPNU)
9 p.m.: (14) Villanova Wildcats vs. (11) Rutgers Scarlet Knights (ESPNU)
