Bruins Vs. Kings: B's Hope To Rally Against L.A.

The Bruins have two more games out West before heading back to Boston, and they need to take a win in tonight's game against the Kings.

The Bruins' first game out West didn't go the way they had planned. In fact, nothing about it was redeeming. They seemed to drop everything they picked up in the two prior games before that, and the ending result was a 2-1 loss to the San Jose Sharks.

Luckily for them, they have had time to adjust to Pacific Time and they will take on a team tonight that they have had success against so far this year--the L.A. Kings.

Also, adding a little bit of extra flavor to the mix, Bruins captain Zdeno Chara will be playing in his 1,000th career NHL game.

Last game against the Kings, the Bruins blanked them 3-0, in the midst of their incredible December winning-run. Brad Marchand scored twice, while Rich Peverley added a goal, and Tuukka Rask picked up another shutout.

Tonight's game will be the first of back-to-back games for the B's, as they will head to Anaheim tomorrow to play against the Ducks.

The puck drops at 9 p.m. EDT and the game will be broadcast live on NESN and aired on 98.5 The Sports Hub.
