The Massachusetts Minutemen used a thrilling win Friday to advance to the Atlantic 10 Tournament semifinals for the first time since 2001. The victory set up a meeting with the St. Bonaventure Bonnies on Saturday for a chance to play for the conference title.
UMass needs just two more wins to secure the school's first NCAA Tournament berth since 1998. The Minutemen beat St. Bonaventure during the teams' lone regular season meeting, 76-67 on Feb. 8.
