Things could get heated tonight after what happened in Saturday's game, as the Bruins host Ottawa back in Boston for the fifth meeting this season.

The Bruins took the win in the latest bout between these two teams last Saturday, but they still left with a bad taste in their mouth after all was said and done.

Though the B's should have had the momentum behind them after losing defenseman Johnny Boychuk just minutes into the third period after Ottawa's Chris Neil laid him out, the Senators nearly came back to tie the game, scoring two goals in less than a minute and a half with two minutes left in the game.

Bruins forward Patrice Bergeron did seal the win for his team though, nailing an empty netter from his own blue line to put the B's up 5-3 with just 18 seconds to go.

While Chara stood up for Boychuk and fought Neil in a dance that lasted about 30 seconds, another hit that resulted in a two minute minor for boarding was delivered by Kyle Turris to Bruins defenseman Joe Corvo.

Though the replay looked like the hit was directly to the head, NHL head disciplinarian Brendan Shanahan deemed the hit legal, and no suspension was handed out.

But now that the Senators are back in Boston, the Bruins will try and take the fifth game from them this season and put the ugly past behind them.

Or just bunch each other a lot.

The puck drops at 7 p.m. and the game with be broadcast live on NESN and aired on 98.5 The Sports Hub.
