Maryland Vs. Boston College Final Score: Terps Down Eagles, 81-65

Behind sophomore guard Terrell Stoglin's game-best 24 points Thursday, the Maryland Terrapins cruised past the Boston College Eagles, 81-65, in a Atlantic Coast Conference men's basketball contest at the Comcast Center in College Park, MD. The Eagles (8-18, 3-9 ACC) dropped their second straight game, while the Terps (15-10, 5-6) earned a bounce-back victory after losing to the Duke Blue Devils Saturday.

Freshman forward Ryan Anderson scored a team-best 22 points and freshman guard Lonnie Jackson added 19, but Boston College couldn't overcome hot shooting of Maryland, which finished the game 50.0-perecent from the field including 8-for-16 from behind the 3-point arc.

The Eagles trailed 41-27 at halftime, and got as close as seven, 63-56, with 2:56 to go but five straight points by Maryland cemented the victory.
