Tonight is the last regular season matchup between these two divisional rivals, and with the way both teams have been playing as of late, this game is up for grabs.
After a 3-0 shutout loss to the New York Rangers less than 24 hours ago, the Bruins will take it a little more north to Montreal to face the Canadiens for the final time this regular season.
The B's have taken three of the first five, after dropping the first two games of the season series back in October. Boston's most recent win against the Habs was back on January 12, where they took a 2-1 win at TD Garden.Jordan Caron and Milan Lucic each netted a goal in that game, and Tim Thomas held on for the win that night.
However, tonight's game could be a different story. The Habs took a tough loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday after earning a four-game win streak prior to that game. The B's have had their own troubles, being shutout three of their last six games, while putting up 125 shots in those contests.
Tuukka Rask should be in net tonight for the Bruins, after Tim Thomas faced 20 shots in last night's game. Carey Price will most likely be in net for the Habs.
The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. and will be broadcast live on RDS(HD), TSN, NBCSN(HD) and aired on 98.5 The Sports Hub.
