Thursday night football isn't that intriguing with a division leader taking on a team with no playoff hopes, but there's other TV options as the two best squads in the Eastern Conference square off as part of TNT's Thursday night NBA lineup. All times are Eastern.
NFL: Denver Broncos vs. Oakland Raiders, 8:20 p.m., NFL Network: Peyton Manning's squad will try to roll to an eighth straight win as they head to Oakland to take on the Raiders. The Broncos have already clinched their division, and then some - they're 9-3, no other team in the AFC West is better than 4-8 - but they still have home field advantage to play for, as they're tied for the best record in the conference with the New England Patriots.
Elsewhere:
NBA: New York Knicks vs. Miami Heat, 8 p.m., TNT
Dallas Mavericks vs. Phoenix Suns, 10:30 p.m., TNT
College basketball: No. 4 Syracuse vs. Long Beach State, 8 p.m., ESPN2
Vanderbilt vs. Xavier, 7:30 p.m., ESPNU
