The Patriots hope to keep their slim chances of a playoff bye alive this week when they travel to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars. New England needs to win out and hope for a Denver Broncos loss or two Houston Texans losses to earn a first-round bye.
Either way, the Patriots want to avoid a letdown against a struggling Jacksonville team. The Jaguars are 2-14 on the season, and New England is 6-0 this season against teams with losing records.
San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks - 8:20 p.m. (TV - NBC)
Fresh off their victory over the Patriots, the San Francisco 49ers look to wrap up the NFC West Sunday night with a victory over the Seattle Seahawks. That victory won't come easy, as Seattle has yet to lose at home this season and drubbed the Buffalo Bills 50-17 last week.
