CHESTNUT HILL - Boston College's new athletic director Brad Bates attended Sunday's basketball game between Boston College and Bryant at Conte Forum but would not give any comment regarding the state of the football program or the future of head coach Frank Spaziani.
"No comment at this time," said Bates, who added that he would be available to talk more about it at a further time.
Boston College's football team finished the season with a 00-straight loss against N.C. State on Saturday, bringing its final record to 2-10 overall and 1-7 in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Spaziani's record as a head coach at Boston College is now 22-29 after a second straight season of bowl in-eligibility. Over the past two season, Spaziani has guided the Eagles to a disappointing 6-18 record.
