Thanksgiving football 2012: Busy Turkey Day for Massachusetts high schools

(Photo via MIAA.net)

Thanksgiving Day has arrived, and that means a busy day for Massachusetts high school football teams.

Family, friends and football -- that's what it's all about on Thanksgiving Day. We'll leave the family and friends part up to you, but we've got you covered in the football category. Sure, the Patriots and Jets will meet down in the Meadowlands, but far more importantly, age-old rivalries will take center stage as the Bay State's high school football teams set the table for Turkey Day.

SB Nation Boston will have you covered all day long, from the high school football scores and results in the morning all the way dinner time when the Pats look to knock off the rival Jets. All you have to do is sit back and enjoy.

Also, our Regional Editor Gethin Coolbaugh (@GethinCoolbaugh) will be Tweeting live from the Framingham-Natick game in Framingham, MA. You can also follow our general account (@SBNationBoston) for more updates.

We hope you enjoy the day, and we want to wish you a happy Thanksgiving!
