Boston College enters Saturday's game with a 2-7 record and a 1-5 mark in the ACC while Notre Dame is a perfect 9-0 and holds the No. 4 ranking in the latest BCS Standings. The Fighting Irish hold a 12-9 lead in the all time series against the Eagles and have won the last three meetings in a row.
Last season, Boston College fell just short of a win in South Bend, losing 16-14. The Eagles scored a touchdown to bring themselves within two points with two minutes to play, but they could not recover an onside kick.
Saturday's game kicks off at 8:12 p.m. ET and will air nationally on ABC.
