The Alabama Crimson Tide and Oregon Ducks are still No. 1 and No. 2 in the latest USA Today Coaches Poll, but after a number of upsets, teams like Kansas St., Notre Dame and Georgia have moved up.
It was a week of changes in the USA Today Coaches' Poll Top 25, with four teams from the top 10 losing and falling in the newest rankings. The Alabama Crimson Tide and Oregon Ducks are still No. 1 and No. 2 in the nation, with fellow 8-0 teams the Kansas State Wildcats and Notre Dame Fighting Irish moving up into the third and fourth spots. the LSU Tigers round out the top 5.
The Florida Gators fell five spots to No. 8 after losing to the South Carolina Gamecocks, who moved up to No. 11. The Oklahoma Sooners picked up their second loss of the season and fell to No. 12. The Oregon St. Beavers were knocked off by the Washington Huskies and dropped to No. 13 with their first loss of the year. Also falling out of the top 10 was the USC Trojans who lost for the second time this season and moved down nine spots to No. 17.
Rutgers took the biggest fall, barely remaining in the top 25 after their first loss of the season, falling from No. 15 to No. 25.
