The 2012 NHL All-Star Mock Draft is has just wrapped up. The first surprise came on the third overall pick of the draft, when Zdeno Chara picked up Boston Bruins teammate Tim Thomas with his second pick of the draft. Daniel Alfredsson has shown plenty of Ottawa bias, selecting teammates Erike Karlsson and Jason Spezza with his first two picks. With his 12th choice he picked up Milan Michalek to put a monopoly on available Senators.
Tyler Seguin joined his fellow Bruins on Chara's second-to-last pick of the draft, and fourth-to-last overall. Logan Couture took home Mr. Irrelevant honors for Team Alfredsson, winning a car in the process. This year's game will take place on Sunday, at 4:00 p.m. ET on NBC.
