Ex-Boston College WR Shakim Phillips Transfers To University Of Connecticut

Shakim Phillips, a wide receiver who left Boston College earlier this summer, will reportedly transfer to the University of Connecticut.

A Big East source has told Metro that former Boston College wide receiver Shakim Phillips will transfer to UConn. The source, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that Phillips informed the Huskies on Friday night that he plans to transfer to the current Big East champions. (via Metro)

Phillips, a former U.S. Army All-American and a Rivals.com four-star recruit, played one season with the Eagles in 2010, recording one catch for nine receiving yards.
