Ex-BC Basketball Star Tyrese Rice Signs With Lithuania's BC Lietuvos Rytas

Tyrese Rice, who starred on the Boston College basketball team from 2005 through 2009, has signed a one year deal with BC Lietuvos Rytas of Lithuania. The contract has an option for a possible extension in the second year.

Rice most recently played with the Artland Dragons of the German Bundesliga, where he averaged 17.3 points and 5.1 assists last season. In addition, he had 121 rebounds and 39 steals.

In four years at Boston College, Rice scores 2,099 points and amassed 594 assists while shooting 43.4 percent for his career. In his senior season ('08-09), Rice averaged 16.8 points and 5.3 assists.
