New England Patriots Preseason 2011: Pats Open Up Against Jaguars

The New England Patriots will open up their 2011 preseason schedule against the Jacksonville Jaguars, who they face on Thursday, August 11 at 7:30 p.m. The game will not be televised.

In addition, the Patriots face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Detroit Lions and New York Giants in preseason action. Only one of their games will be televised, their match-up with Detroit, but that could change based on local coverage.

2011 NFL Preseason Schedule - New England Patriots

  • Week 1: Jacksonville Jaguars vs. New England Patriots (Gillette Stadium) - Thursday, August 11; 7:30 p.m.
  • Week 2: New England Patriots vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Raymond James Stadium) - Thursday, August 18; 7:30 p.m.
  • Week 3: New England Patriots vs. Detroit Lions (Ford Field) - Saturday, August 27; 8:00 p.m. (CBS)
  • Week 4: New York Giants vs. New England Patriots (Gillette Stadium) - Thursday, September 1; 7:30 p.m.
