Boston College's Mark Herzlich Signs With New York Giants

Mark Herzlich, welcome to the NFL. Herzlich, a linebacker who graduated from Boston College this year and went undrafted in the 2011 NFL Draft, has signed with the New York Giants, according to his Twitter account.

Herzlich did not release the terms of his new contract. Herzlich played four seasons at Boston College, amassing 314 tackles (218 solo), 11 interceptions and three sacks during his tenure at Chestnut Hill. Herzlich is best known for his courageous battle against Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer that caused him to miss the entire 2009 season. Miraculously, Herzlich overcame the disease and returned to play in his senior season.
