NCAA Tournament Bracket Update: Morehead St., Butler And Temple Advance On Wild First Day

Five games of the 2011 NCAA Tournament's second round are in the books, and already it's one of the wilder afternoon March Madness has seen, with three games decided in the final second, including No. 13 Morehead State's shocking upset of No. 4 Louisville.

Demonte Harper hit a go-ahead three with just 4.2 seconds left, giving the Eagles a 62-61 lead that would hold when Kenneth Faried blocked Louisville's game-winning attempt.

Earlier in the day, Butler gave us the first buzzer-beater when Matt Howard gathered a loose ball and layed it in just before the horn sounded, giving last year's national runner-up a last-second win over Old Dominion, one of three CAA teams to make the tournament.

In Thursday's other wild ending, Temple was able to get by Penn State with a step-though jumper with just 0.4 seconds left to advance to the third round, where the Owls will meet the winner of Northern Colorado and San Diego State.
