Boston University Vs. Cornell Halftime Update: Big Red Lead 35-24 Behind Big Run

Cornell took the Terriers initial punch and then threw a heck of a counter punch in the form of a 20-0 run to take a 35-24 lead into the break. After the Terriers scored the first seven points of the game, Cornell's pressing defense forced seven turnovers over the next 10 minutes as their offense slowly heated up.

Boston University was led by by senior guard Darryl Partin's 12 points. Only four Terriers managed to score in the half, with D.J. Irving, Dom Morris and Patrick Hazel all chipping in with four points. The team's shooting woes continued as they hit just two of 10 attempts from behind the arc and shot just 38 percent from the field.

Drew Ferry led the Big Red with nine points on three 3-pointers. The Big Red used 12 Terrier turnovers to break away from Boston University, including an 8-2 run to close the half after the Terriers had closed the deficit to five.
