Major League Baseball

World Series Game 2 -- St. Louis Cardinals vs. Texas Rangers, 7:30 p.m. (FOX): The Fall Classic is off to a good start after an impressive pitchers' duel Wednesday left St. Louis up 1-0. Now Texas will have to turn to a faltering Colby Lewis to bring them back into a tie against a resurgent Jaime Garcia.

National Hockey League

Boston Bruins vs. Toronto Maple Leafs, 7:00 p.m. (NESN): The Bruins need to start winning, and they need to do so in a hurry. With David Krejci hopefully making his return, they'll have a terrific opportunity to not only pick up a couple points, but also to make a statement as they welcome the 4-0-1 Maple Leafs into Boston.
