Deutsche Bank Championship, Second Round: Brandt Snedeker Shoots 64, Shares Lead With Jason Day

Hurricane Earl caused a delay of the first round of the Deutsche Bank Championship as it roared through Boston on Friday, but the rain it dumped on TPC Boston resulted in soft, forgiving conditions for Saturday's second round, and the field took advantage, with five players at 10-under or better.

There is a pair of leaders at the top, with American Brandt Snedeker and Australian Jason Day, one of the co-leaders after round one, both at 12-under. Snedeker shot a seven-under 64 on Saturday to vault himself into contention.

Matt Kuchar, the FedExCup points leader heading into this weekend, one shot off the lead after Saturday's six-under.

Tiger Woods, noted golfing enthusiast, needed a big Saturday just to make the cut after posting a 72 on Friday, and he delivered with a six-under 65, lowering his tournament score to -5, seven back from the leaders.
