Patriots Training Camp: Wes Welker Takes Part In Full Contact Drills
For the first time since the game against the Texans on Jan. 3, Wes Welker took part in full contact football drills, taking part in the Patriots' morning practice on Thursday.
Welker took two hits from linebacker Jerod Mayo during the drills and popped up both times with no issues.
He returned to practice earlier this week after being removed from the PUP list but Thursday marked the first time Welker was subject to contact.
