The ACC released game times and TV information for the first three weeks of the college football season, and Boston College's Sept. 5 home opener against Weber State will kickoff at 1 p.m., while its Week 2 game against Kent State is a 3:30 p.m. start.↵
Sadly, Boston College's home opener - featuring the return of cancer survivor Mark Herzlich to the playing field - will not be televised. Eagles fans will have to power up their laptops to watch Herzlich and BC open the 2010 season, as the game will only be shown on ESPN3.com. BC's week two game will be broadcast nationally on ESPNU.
It's disappointing that the rest of the country won't be able to watch Herzlich run back onto the field after beating Ewing's Sarcoma, but that's what happens when you schedule an FCS opponent that has to travel 2,500 miles to get to their game.↵
